She was born 1977 in Friedrichsheim and works as an author for short-stories and novels of different genres (horror, fantasy, thriller etc.) for (young) adults. Additionally she's a professional cover designer, make-up artist and lector, she gives lessons in self-publishing as well as in writing short-stories in schools. When she has the time, Miss Schmitt-Egner helps her family and takes care of her cats.
She wrote Sam aus dem Meer Series, Königsfreunde Series, Nachtangst and Follower Die Geschichte einer Stalkerin as well as Silberfedern as a co-author.
