Book five of the famous series! Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix! (in German Harry Potter und der Orden des Phönix, in French Harry Potter et l'Ordre du Phénix). I read it in German where it contained 1019 pages.
They say, Harry Potter is crazy. They say, Dumbledore gets silly. They say, Lord Voldemort is dead. They are wrong. Not even the new professor for Defense against the Dark Artifices, Dolores Umbridge, can convince Harry of the lie. With Hermiones help, Harry gives lessons of real Defense against the Dark Artifices (unlike the theoretical stuff Umbridge does): Dumbledore's Army. But Umbridge suspects that much and slowly throws Dumbledore of his post to replace him and use the power to keep Harry in control. In the meantime, Voldemort tries to get through a mysterious door in the ministry of magic, Harry watches this through the strange connection between them... But why won't anyone - especially not Dumbledore - tell him about this thing between Voldmort and him?
Harry is seriously a pain in the ass. He is in puberty and this is absolutely annoying. But apart from this, the characters are remarkably realistic (in comparison). I like especially Ginny and Luna. Girl power! And it is really great how Neville develops! But there are mistakes in this book (SPOILER ALERT): The hat of the choosing ceremony said that Slytherin wanted only those of pure blood in his ranks. But there are many Slytherins, who only pretend to be pure blooded, like Tom V. Riddle. He was only a Halfblood. He shouldn't have gotten in Slytherin, if this really was THE criteria. And Harry shouldn't have to plead to not get to Slytherin. A prospros Harry: Harry saw his mother die. So why didn't he see the Thestrales before? Luna saw the first person die when she was the same age as Harry, so it has nothing to do with conscious memories.
I give it a star for characters, Neville's development and ideas, minus one for the mistakes.
